There is a method of bible study that the Spirit of God seems to be leading His people into. I have heard about it operating in Africa, China and Iran, and I have seen it in India and New Zealand. It takes various forms but the same general pattern. It is small groups where each member discovers truth from God’s Word for themselves. They share their discoveries with other group members and this builds unity. They make application to their own lives and make themselves accountable to group members to apply the Word. This builds obedience and grows disciples. They share what they discover with another person outside the group and this is their witness. When new members join they divide the group into two groups and so the process multiplies, and the number of disciples grows.
